B2G-Disadvaged Business certification.
For eligible applicants that apply for the B2G-Disadvanged Business certification, we will work to get you on the Federal, State, and local certification directory.
B2C
Disadvantaged Business Certification
The B2C- Disadvantage Business certification is for small business owners that identify as one of the listed social disadvantage groups and are not seeking additional government certifications. The certification is used to show consumers where they are spending their dollars. To be eligible for the certification, owners must

Be a at least 51% owned by a 'disadvantaged' member of the population.

Presumed disadvantaged groups are women, Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Asian-Pacific Americans, Subcontinent Asian-Pacific Americans, or, members of the LGBTQ+ community.​

The Certification process can take up to 30 days from submitting a completed application.
B2G
Disadvantaged Business Certification
The B2G- Disadvantage Business certification is for small business owners that identify as one of the listed social disadvantage groups and are seeking additional government certifications. To be eligible for the certification, owners must

Be a at least 51% owned by a 'disadvantaged' member of the population.

Business Size Determination- A firm (including its affiliates) must be a small business as defined by SBA standards. It must not have annual gross receipts over $22,410,000 in the previous three fiscal years.

Personal Net Worth- Only disadvantaged persons having a personal net worth of less than $1.32 million can be considered as a potential qualified B2G-Disadvantage Business.

Independence- Only an independent business may be certified as a B2G-Disadvantage Business. An independent business is one the viability of which does not depend on its relationship with another firm or firms.

Control- A disadvantaged owner seeking certification must possess the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of the firm. The owner must also have an overall understanding of, and managerial and technical competence and experience directly related to, the type of business in which the firm is engaged.

Businesses that apply for the B2G-Disadvantage Business certification will be reviewed for eligibility into the federal, state, and local government certifications program. If an applicant is eligible for government programs, our team will provide assistant with submitting each application.

The cost for this certification is $150.00. Fees will be charged after our team assesses your information to ensure you are eligible for government certification programs.

The certification process can take up to 90 days from a completed application.
